All-Night Concert

Last night we went to a worship concert put on by seven different local churches. It was supposed to start at 6 so we arrived at 6:30. It actually started at 8:25 (I checked the clock) with announcements. But by 8:35 we were on our way.

It was a really neat time of worship and praise. Most of it was in French but just before we quit the party (at 10:30) there were two songs in a local language and the crowd loved it. They had already been dancing, but when these songs started they basically formed a bouncing, churning mosh pit in front of the stage.

We left after the 4th church had presented, and there were still 3 to go. After that they were each supposed to come up a second time. So I'm assuming the concert ended sometime around sunrise, though I haven't seen anyone today who had been there. I would guess they're probably sleeping in!
